Daisy Quezada is studio based artist that lives and work in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Quezada teaches a section of Freshman Studio courses at Santa Fe University of Art and Design, alongside doing doing administrative work for studio arts, graphic design, and digital arts. Within the community she teaches at Mounte del Sol and coaches tennis in Pojoaque.
When not working, Quezada maintains a private studio practice creating ceramic works and installations that address themes of identity and place in relation to diaspora and social structures. Quezada has shown her work internationally at Summerhall in Edinburg, New Taipei in Taiwan, and Icheon in South Korea. Most recently her work was shown at a Small-scale Ceramics Biennial in Cheney Washington.
