Daisy Quezada

Daisy Quezada
Daisy Quezada is visual artist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Within her practice she creating ceramic works and installations that speak on themes of identity and place in relation to diaspora and social structures that cross between geographical boundaries. Quezada has shown her work internationally at Summerhall Edinburg, New Taipei Taiwan, and Icheon South Korea. Most recently Quezada was a part of the Mi Tierra: Contemporary Artist Explore Place shown at the Denver Art Museum.

At Santa Fe University of Art and Design Quezada teaches a beginning and intermediate ceramics, alongside being an administrative assistant for Studio Arts, Communication Design, and Digital Arts. Within the community Quezada has taught in the public schools through El Otro Lado/The Other and coached tennis in Pojoaque. Quezada received her BFA at Santa Fe University of Art and
