Lucrecia Troncoso is an interdisciplinary artist originally from Argentina. With a strong background in Ceramics, she received an MFA in New Practices from San Francisco State University in 2005. Her work is an exploration on materiality and has been shown in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles and other California locations, New York, Chicago, Miami, Santa Fe, and internationally in Argentina, Turkey, and Spain. She has participated in residencies nationally and abroad, and has been invited as a visiting artist to Norway, Mexico, and Argentina. Her most recent residency was at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art in Omaha, NE where she was awarded the Emmy Gifford Foundation Fellowship, and most recent shows in New Mexico have taken place at the Alcove Exhibitions at the New Mexico Museum of Art, 333 Montezuma Arts, David Richard Gallery, and Form and Concept, in Santa Fe.
