Alessandra Dobrin Khalsa is the co-founder/owner of Seethrough Films & Prana Projects, two New York and Santa Fe based production and visual arts companies. Born in New York City and raised in the Netherlands, she returned to New York in 1997 where she studied film and went on to work as an editor, director and producer.
Alessandra has worked on many noted television specials and series, documentary and narrative films, trailers, music videos, industrials and commercials. She has had the privilege of contributing to projects for the likes of The Beatles, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Mohammad Ali and Cirque Du Soleil. Her client list includes NBC, ABC, CBS, VH1, MTV, BET, MSNBC, BMG among others. Additional projects have been featured in numerous festivals, received multiple nominations and reviews in magazines and newspapers in both Europe and the US.

Beyond establishing a knowledge base and foundation in technical skill, I believe in working with the individual to identify and foster their unique talents and creative voices. Drawing from my own experience studying film and working in New York, I am constantly searching for opportunities to share practical examples of how the course syllabus translates to being a working filmmaker.
