Donald’s screen credits include six television movies for the Hallmark Channel, including Christmas in Canaan, based on his novel co-written with country music legend Kenny Rogers, and Love Finds A Home, the final installment in Janette Oke’s best-selling Love Comes Softly series. His first feature film, Hell and Mr. Fudge, was the 2012 platinum winner at the WorldFest/Houston International Film Festival.
Donald has also been active behind the camera, working as a multi-camera director for several syndicated talk shows and producing and directing the ABC-TV’s Christmas Eve special, The New Noël. His Studio City-based production company, Allison-Davenport Productions, serviced a number of commercial and industrial clients, among them Lockheed Aircraft and The Cousteau Society, and he has traveled throughout Asia doing documentary projects for an international relief organization.
He currently has two TV series projects in development.
