International Student Office
Our International Student Office can help facilitate your transition to the United States. A student support coordinator works with you on issues such as obtaining your F-1 student visa, working with an academic advisor, participating in student activities, living on campus, and enjoying Santa Fe.

We define “international students” as all applicants from countries other than the United States. After you are admitted to study for a semester or to pursue a degree program at Santa Fe University of Art and Design, you must apply for an F-1 student visa at the U.S. consulate or embassy in your home country. Living on Campus
As an international student at Santa Fe University of Art and Design, you’ll live on campus in a friendly, safe, and enriching environment. Each room is furnished, and residence halls are fully equipped. You’ll have access to a wide range of services on campus , such as dining facilities, a fitness center, and libraries. Pricing The pricing for international students is identical to that of current enrolled domestic students. All current tuition, course fees, and housing information can be found here . Please note that international students do not qualify for federal financial aid but do qualify for our Redford/Milagro Initiative Scholarship and for other financing/scholarship information please contact your Enrollment Advisor.

Eligibility Requirements - In addition to the standard application process for students, international applicants will also need to provide:
- An official evaluated high school transcript if applying as a freshman
- An official evaluated university transcript if applying as a transfer student
- Proof of English proficiency (minimum TOEFL scores: 550 paper version, 79 Internet version; or IELTS scores: 6 or higher)
- A completed Laureate English Exam (available to LIU students only) with minimum scores of 13 listening, 18 reading, 13 speaking, and 8 writing
- Confirmation of financial resources
- Proof of health insurance/immunization prior to registration
- Proof of a minimum 2.0 GPA
