Marianne Bland

Marianne Bland

Field Representative for Northern California, Oregon and Washington

I became the youngest person in the history of my hometown to obtain a business license at age 16 when I started a mural painting company to earn money for art college. I attended community college and transferred to California College of the Arts, where I studied abroad in Marseille, France and obtained my Bachelor¹s Degree in Painting & Drawing. My cityscapes have been shown in galleries in Sacramento, San Francisco and at Stanford University. I love Santa Fe¹s supportive art culture and focus on ways to make a living as an artist. My favorite paint color is cadmium red light, my husband and rescue dog Chester are my best friends, and I¹m fueled by mochas and quiche.

Fun fact: “A piece of my artwork was seen by millions of people while on display in San Francisco’s Union Square in 2012”
