Photographer Paul Slaughter, a Santa Fe resident for 26 years, will exhibit a large selection of his classic jazz photography that he has captured over the past 46 years. Included are portraits of Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, and photographed in Santa Fe, Sonny Rollins, Wynton Marsalis, Dee Dee Bridgewater along with local jazz players, Eddie Daniels, Arlen Asher and John Trentacosta. Slaughter will be at the opening. A free jazz concert from jazz program faculty and a student in SFUAD’s Contemporary Music Program will follow the opening exhibition reception in Tipton Hall, beginning at 7 p.m. The exhibition will be up through April 20 and may be viewed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
