Tribes on the Edge: A Talk by Michael Clark

American Society of Media Photographers Special Event Sponsored by SFUAD

On a recent assignment with CauseCentric Productions, during the filming of the Tribes on the Edge documentary, Michael Clark was hired to document indigenous tribes deep in the Brazilian Amazon in a protected area known as the Vale do Javari, which holds the largest number of uncontacted indigenous tribes anywhere in the World. In his talk, Michael will present his images, discuss in detail this intense assignment and introduce the indigenous peoples he encountered. Come join us for a night of adventurous stories and images about a culture that has barely changed in thousands of years.
