SFUAD Charitable Foundation Announces its Official Launch

From an SFUAD Charitable Foundation press release:

Santa Fe, N.M.—August 28, 2013— The Santa Fe University of Art and Design Charitable Foundation has announced its official launch. Its mission is to award scholarships to sophomores, juniors, and seniors enrolled at Santa Fe University of Art and Design (SFUAD) who are in financial need. Scholarships are available to students who have completed their first year of study, regardless of their major.

As a non-profit 501(c)(3), the SFUAD Charitable Foundation maintains a separate governing body from the university, comprised of community volunteers and alumni who have a desire to help students earn a college education. Founding Board members include President Michael Swain and Vice President, Carol Robertson Lopez. Santa Fe gallery owner Bill Siegal has also joined as a Board member. The SFUAD Charitable Foundation is currently seeking SFUAD alumni to join the organization as well.
