Billie Holiday 100th Birthday Tribute Event

Hosted by CMP and featuring a screening of "Lady Sings the Blues" and a live concert

This event takes place at The Forum on the SFUAD campus.

This dynamic tribute event celebrates what would have been iconic singer Billie Holiday’s 100th birthday.

The event will begin with a screening of the 1972 film, “Lady Sings the Blues,” followed by a live performance from several female student vocalists and music faculty from SFUAD, who will perform some of Holiday’s most classic songs (featuring the students’ own unique musical arrangements).
